With 27 years of teaching experience and a career built on genuine passion for music education, Lena is the heart and soul of Music Forest Studio.

A classically trained pianist, Lena has studied under internationally acclaimed musicians including Adam György, Steven Spooner, and ABRSM/LCM examiner Robert Langston — bringing a depth of performance knowledge that goes far beyond the classroom. She is a certified Steinway Teacher and Educational Partner, one of Singapore's most respected designations in piano education.

Lena specialises in piano and music theory, teaching students from young beginners through to adult learners with equal dedication. She is experienced across all major examination boards — ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall, and London College of Music — and provides expert guidance for students taking Music and Higher Music at 'O' Level. She also serves as a music adjudicator, bringing an examiner's perspective directly into her teaching.

Believing that performance is just as important as practice, Lena organises annual student concerts and masterclasses so every student builds real stage confidence — not just exam grades.

Currently expanding her musicianship into jazz piano, flute, and piano ensembles, Lena is passionate about introducing students to a wider world of music genres — because great teaching never stops growing.
